Aradena, located above Chora Sfakion and behind the village of Anopolis, is a nearly deserted small mountain village with history.

Meanwhile some people are going back and rebuilding the old houses.

A family from the village has build a bridge, so it's much easier to reach this village now. There are some very nice old stone house ruins here.

The bridge was used for bungee jumping for a couple of years.

The old stone houses will give you an impression of live in the Cretan villages.

This gorge the local people had to cross in earlier times. Because of this location it was very difficult for the Turks to conquer the village.
