In the north-west of Kissamos is the beach of Balos. One bad
road, 8 km long, is going there. After 5 km you are passing a small church,
where is a spring. At the end of the road is a parking and a canteen. From
there it's about 2,5 km to the beaches, by feet.
Well known is the Balos for the wonderful colours.
There are no trees, take water with you.
At the beginning of the peninsula in the bay of Kalivani
you can see a wreck on the beach.
