The village of Omalos and the plateau are well known, because here is the entry to the Samaria Gorge. Also nice for walking in the mountain. There are some rooms and taverns.

Who wants to walk through the gorge, shouldn't come with by car, because you can not go back the same day and pick it up. Better by bus.
