Meanwhile there are many small hotels, villas and some taverns. But less tourism here than in Platanias or Agia Marina, even the village is near to the airport.

A sandy beach with some stones at the main road. Beside the small harbour you can see a place where the people tried to produce salt. There are some nice spots on Akrotiri and the distance to Chanai is only 13 km. There is also a neolithic cave. Later it was a holy place for the ancient Greeks.
