The palm beach of Vai is already in every travel guide. It's
on the east coast, about 90 km from Agios Nikolaos.
The beach is too small for the mass tourism coming with all the buses.
Controlled parking here. It's a pity for this nice place. There are about
5000 palms in an area of 3-4 km. It is one of the few
palm beaches in Europe. You can see the palms a long
way before the beach. Not for a nice day at the beach. |
